How Event Notifications Work
Estimated reading time: 30 seconds - 1 minute
Event notifications keep you informed by sending select events directly to the Portal Viewer app installed on your phone in real-time, based on your chosen preferences and available subscription or credits.
How It Works
- Select the notifications you wish to receive on the notifications page on the Portal Viewer App
- When an event is generated, the system checks your notification preferences.
- If the event is allowed in your preferences, the system verifies whether you have a Notification Subscription or enough Notification Credits.
- If you do not have sufficient credits or a subscription, then you will not receive a notification
- If you do have sufficient credits or a subscription, then your notification will be sent and your balance will be adjusted
