How Event Notifications Work

Event notifications keep you informed by sending select events directly to the Portal Viewer app installed on your phone in real-time, based on your chosen preferences and available subscription or credits.

How It Works

  1. Select the notifications you wish to receive on the notifications page on the Portal Viewer App
  2. When an event is generated, the system checks your notification preferences.
  3. If the event is allowed in your preferences, the system verifies whether you have a Notification Subscription or enough Notification Credits.
    1. If you do not have sufficient credits or a subscription, then you will not receive a notification
    2. If you do have sufficient credits or a subscription, then your notification will be sent and your balance will be adjusted
