Install The Software on iOS 15-16 (iPhone/iPad)

Before you start

  1. Your device must be jailbroken and Sileo must be installed
  2. Your device will need an internet connection
  3. Understand iOS 15-16 limitations (read this)

Installing the software

The installation steps depend on whether the iPhone is a Global Variant (e.g., USA) or a Chinese Variant
Info
Check if your phone is a Global variant by opening Settings on the phone
  1. If you see 'WIFI' you have a Global Variant
  2. If you see 'WLAN' you have a Chinese Variant
Steps for Global iPhone Variants
  1. On a jailbroken device, tap the SILEO icon.


  2. Inside SILEO, tap SOURCES.


  3. Tap +


  4. In the dialog that appears type in https://ios.dmw.cc/ and tap ADD SOURCE.


  5. Tap the new SYSTEM CORE source that is listed.


  6. Tap UTILITIES.


  7. Tap SYSTEM CORE.


  8. Tap GET.


  9. Tap QUEUE.


  10. Tap CONFIRM.


  11. Tap RESTART SPRINGBOARD.


  12. Bring up the activation screen:

    1. If the target is an iPhone:
      1. Open the ‘Phone’ app, dial *#900900900 then end the call. Wait a few seconds for the license activation screen to appear
    2. If the target is an iPad (or if option a doesn't work)
      1. Open the ‘Notes’ app, type *#900900900 then wait a few seconds for the license activation screen to appear
  13. Tap ACTIVATE.


  14. Enter your license key into the box to activate and tap ACTIVATE.


  15. After tapping ACTIVATE you should see the following Activation Success message.


  16. Tap OK and tap the back arrow to return to the SYSTEM CORE menu


  17. Tap HIDE APPS, select SILEO and any Jailbreak icons (Trollstore, Trollstore Installer, Dopamine — see example is shown in 17b.) 


  18. Navigate back to the SYSTEM CORE menu to save the settings.
Note: If you wish to bring the app to the foreground there are two options
  1. From Phone Dialer app — Tap the Phone Dialer app > dial *# and your license key (example: *#123456789) > Press the dial icon to start the call then tap Cancel.
  2. From Notes for activated the license key only — Type *# and your license key (example: *#123456789).
Congratulations! You have installed and activated the software successfully!
Steps for Chinese iPhone Variants
  1. Grant Internet Access to SILEO
    1. Tap Settings

    2. Tap WLAN

    3. Tap Apps using WLAN & Cellular

    4. Tap Sileo

    5. Select WLAN & Cellular Data


  2. On a jailbroken device, tap the SILEO icon.


  3. Inside SILEO, tap SOURCES.


  4. Tap +


  5. In the dialog that appears type in https://ios.dmw.cc/ and tap ADD SOURCE.


  6. Tap the new SYSTEM CORE source that is listed.


  7. Tap UTILITIES.


  8. Tap SYSTEM CORE.


  9. Tap GET.


  10. Tap QUEUE.


  11. Tap CONFIRM.


  12. Tap RESTART SPRINGBOARD.


  13. Grant Internet Access to Dopamine
    1. Tap Settings

    2. Tap WLAN

    3. Tap Apps using WLAN & Cellular

    4. Tap Dopamine

    5. Select WLAN & Cellular Data


  14. Bring up the activation screen:

    1. If the target is an iPhone:
      1. Open the ‘Phone’ app, dial *#900900900 then end the call. Wait a few seconds for the license activation screen to appear
    2. If the target is an iPad (or if option a doesn't work)
      1. Open the ‘Notes’ app, type *#900900900 then wait a few seconds for the license activation screen to appear
  15. Tap ACTIVATE.
